I have a dessert problem.

How do I tell the difference between desert and dessert? Dessert has two S’s because you always want more of it. That could not be more accurate. I am a dessert fiend and really fancy anything chocolate and creamy. I recently stumbled upon the world of dessert hummus. First I tried the snickerdoodle Delighted dessert hummus but was unfortunately unimpressed. It still had a hummus taste and the texture was funky. I am not a texture driven person, but I couldn’t eat it with anything except an apple. Fast forward a few weeks and I stumbled upon the most glorious dessert hummus: Boar’s Head Dark Chocolate Dessert Hummus. This stuff is the new crack pie. Crack hummus. If you haven’t tried it. Stop, go to your local grocery store, and pick it up.

unspecified-24_1400x.progressiveThis thing is gluten free, dairy free, non-gmo, no msg, and kosher. How much more could I ask for?? Did I mention chocolate?? It tastes and has a texture similar to a chocolate pudding or thick mousse. When I have a craving for something sweet a chocolatey, I put a few spoons of this in a bowl and top with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, bananas, apples, you name it! It tastes delicious as a dip or as a dessert and is amazing with pretzels, but I am trying to be healthy so fruit it is! This post is not sponsored, BUT I WISH IT WAS … Boar’s Head please sponsor me I’ll take a lifetime supply in lieu of money!
